VEHICLE TECHNICIAN (Full time)
Salary:
£27,250 - £41,750 depending on qualifications and experience (Overtime paid at time and a half).
Hours:
Monday - Friday :8:15AM - 17:15PM
Saturday: Occasionally subject to customer demand.
We are currently looking for an experienced Car Mechanic/Vehicle Technician/Motor Mechanic/MOT tester to join our busy independent garage on a full time basis.
We have a comprehensive range of private, retail and commercial customers with vehicle repair needs.
You will need to have a high standard of professionalism and be confident working on all makes of vehicles as well as being efficient and self disciplined. You need to be willing to work as a team member as well as on your own.
The ideal Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician will possess:
- NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent / Time Served Experience
- Ideally you will have 3 years experience in the motor vehicle repair industry (considerations will be made for the right person).
- COMPULSORY: A valid class 4 MOT testing licence
- A Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, and no disqualifications within the last 5 years (you will be subject to licence checks)
- Experience in a professional workshop environment
- A good approach to customer service
- We will also require you to carry out fault finding and diagnostic work using our diagnostic equipment accompanied with your own knowledge and experience.
